If selected, you will be notified by email and given instructions.

Billing & Payment Checklist

5. Confirm Your Balance & Make Payment Arrangements

After your financial aid has been accepted and processed, contact the Business Office to confirm your remaining balance.

All students must have their bill paid in full or payment arrangements in place with the Business Office before classes start.

Satisfactory payment arrangements include:

  • Having financial aid in place that covers your remaining balance
  • Enrolling in a payment plan through Nelnet Business Solutions
  • Providing a Certification of Outside Scholarship for incoming scholarship funds
  • Approval of a private loan prior to the due date

For more detail on payment policies, see Payments on the Estimated Cost of Attendance page.

6. Enroll in a Payment Plan (Optional)

Students may enroll in a payment plan through Nelnet Business Solutions. Nelnet enrollees may make monthly payments throughout the semester or school year with no interest charges.

7. Pay Your Balance

Once payment arrangements are in place or your bill is ready to pay, you can make a payment online.

Things to Note

  • Completing this checklist and finalizing financial aid does not mean you have completed the admissions process, have completely enrolled in classes, or that your bill is taken care of.
  • Because the Financial Aid Offer is not a bill, you must still communicate with the Student Accounts department regarding actual charges and bill payment.
  • To get a better idea of what it will cost, use the Net Price Calculator.
